PORTLAND, Maine — Developers Collaborative, a Maine-based real estate development company, has announced that Eric Boucher, CPA, has joined the organization as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer (CFO/COO).

Boucher brings nearly three decades of financial and operational leadership experience across housing, banking, and professional services. In his new role, he will oversee financial strategy, capital planning, and operational performance as Developers Collaborative continues to expand its real estate development and property management portfolio across Maine.

With Boucher joining the leadership team, Amanda Bartlett—previously Chief Operating Officer—will shift her focus more fully to real estate development where she has played a key role in advancing mission-driven housing initiatives and nonprofit partnerships throughout Maine.

Boucher most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Finance & Operations Officer at Avesta Housing, where he also held the roles of Interim President & CEO and Chief Financial Officer during his more than 15-year tenure. He provided executive leadership across finance, human resources, information systems, and asset management, while overseeing regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and long-term strategic planning.

“Eric brings a rare combination of financial expertise, operational leadership, and deep experience in housing,” said Kevin Bunker, founder and principal of Developers Collaborative. “As our company continues to grow in Maine, his strategic insight and experience guiding complex organizations will be invaluable. His background aligns with our commitment to responsible development and addressing housing needs across the state.”

Prior to Avesta Housing, Boucher held financial leadership roles with TD Bank and Camden National Corporation and began his career in audit and advisory services with PricewaterhouseCoopers, building expertise in financial reporting, auditing, regulatory compliance, and corporate finance.

“I’ve long admired the impact Developers Collaborative has had on communities throughout Maine,” said Boucher. “I’m excited to join a team committed to high-quality development and strengthening communities, and I look forward to supporting the company’s continued growth.”

Boucher is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Maine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
