The proposed rehabilitation of the Falmouth High School building will create 18 senior housing units. The two-and-a-half story building was built in the Colonial Revival Style. The rehabilitation of the 1930-31 school will retain much of it’s existing historic materials. The renovated historic school will include 18 apartments and the new construction addition will include 16 apartments for a total of approximately 34 apartments. The apartments will include studios, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments. Each apartment will have a full kitchen and air conditioning. The new community will share a beautifully landscaped site with Falmouth’s Community Programs. Residents can enjoy the village green with several walking paths and sitting areas. Equally important, Falmouth’s community programs will provide another source of activities for residents including the home to Falmouth’s new senior center.
