The City of Ellsworth was the fastest growing city in Maine for nearly 10 years. The unprecedented growth rate of nearly 20% led to a shortage of affordable housing. Developers Collaborative responded to this need with the development Oriole Way.
Oriole Way is of one of the largest affordable residential housing developments in Ellsworth’s history. Oriole Way offers 50 new town house style apartments, conveniently located between the Route 1 shopping district and Water Street. Oriole Way offers easy access to a wide variety of shopping and services within walking distance of the complex.
Oriole Way has one, two, and three-bedroom units available. Every apartment features an open concept floor plan, modern finishes and large windows to allow for abundant natural light. The community also offers on-site Resident Service Coordination, 24-hour on call maintenance, parking, on-site laundry, and an on-site community room.
Occupancy of the first apartments began in December 2018. The final units will become available in Spring 2019. Oriole Way is an income restricted development and applicants must meet the income guidelines referenced below.
